The Netherlands Women's Rugby Team is embarking on a four-year journey to compete at the very highest level of the sport.

The Rugby World Cup 2029 in Australia

This campaign marks the first step in that journey: raising €15,000  to support our upcoming international tournament, WXV, in Hong Kong. This competition is a key opportunity for us to gain world ranking points, and test ourselves against top opposition. 

Dutch women's rugby has always been part of history in the making. In 1982, the Netherlands faced France in Utrecht in what became the first-ever women's international rugby match, helping shape the global women's game as we know it today. Now, we are determined to build on that legacy and return to the rugby world cup.

We have already proven that we can compete on the international stage. But to take the next step, qualifying for the World Cup, we need support . Like many developing rugby nations, we face financial challenges that limit our access to resources, preparation, and competition.

Your contribution will directly support:

• Medical and recovery support, including supplementation 
• Player travel reimbursement for national team duty
• Off-field team kit and essential equipment
• Travel logistics and administration for international competition
• Team building activities that strengthen our culture and cohesion
• Marketing, content creation, and sponsor visibility
• Coaching, analysis, medical, and performance staff
