About me
My name is Aadvik Suthan, and I was born in 2016. I am in Grade 4 at the Int School Utrecht.
I started playing chess at the age of 6, and since then it has become a part of my life.I enjoy learning, competing, and improving with every tournament. Chess teaches me focus, discipline, and perseverance, and I am proud to be a chess player.
Achievements
Over the years, I have performed consistently in youth chess competitions and have continued to grow as a player. These results motivate me to keep improving and to continue developing my chess at the highest level possible.
- Under-7 Champion
- Second place in both the Under-8 and Under-9
- Shared first place in the Under-10, narrowly missing the title after tie-breaks
- Holder of the KNSB Beloftestatus for promising sporting talent
- 4th place in the Under-12
- Utrecht Champion from Under-7 through Under-10
- KNSB rating above 2000 in both classical and rapid chess, with a top classical rating above 2036
- I regularly play tournaments across the Netherlands, such as in Limburg, the Hilversum Open, and more
Reason for support
I have the opportunity to compete at the European Youth Chess Championship in the Under-10 category. This is an important step in my chess journey and a valuable chance to gain international experience.
The funds raised will help cover travel and accommodation costs. Because I am 10 years old, I need to be accompanied during the trip. The support will also help with coaching and preparation, so I can compete at my best.
