My name is Akul, I am 9 years old. I study in group 6 at Scharn Primary Education in Maastricht.
I have been playing chess since I was seven and chess is my passion. I practice chess and register with 2 clubs – SV Maastricht and KSK Rochade Eupen and play for these 2 clubs in competitions at national club level.
I train every day and play national competitions every year and finish in the Top 3 every year.
This year I have been nominated to play chess at the European Youth Championship in Prague, representing the Netherlands.
This is a huge event for me and a proud moment. In order to compete I need to make a personal contribution and that is why I have opened this campaign. I would really appreciate your contribution to help me.
