Hallo iedereen!

Mijn naam is Sam Gerrits en ben 18 jaar oud.

Ik studeer aan de PABO op de Haagse Hogeschool maar mijn droom is een leven als professioneel squasher. Van jongs af aan heb ik er al alles voor over om mijn sportieve doelen te bereiken.

Momenteel speel ik in het Nederlands herenteam en sta in de top van de Europese jeugd.

In juli speel ik het WK squash junioren in Melbourne, Australië. Mijn doel is hier om de titel te veroveren.

Australië is niet om de hoek. Ik moet daarom veel kosten maken. Naast mijn studie en mijn trainingsprogramma verdien ik niet genoeg met mijn bijbaan om deze reis te bekostigen. Squash Bond Nederland heeft geen geld om de spelers te financieren. Daarom ben ik opzoek naar sponsoren die mij willen helpen.

Hello everyone!

My name is Sam Gerrits, and I am 18 years old.

I am currently studying Education for primary schools at The Hague University of Applied Sciences, but my dream is to live a life as a professional squash player. Since I was young, I have been willing to do whatever it takes to achieve my goals.

Currently, I am playing for the National men's team and ranking high among European youth players.

In July, I will be participating in the Junior World Championships of squash in Melbourne, Australia. My goal there is to conquer the title.

Australia is quite far away, and as a result, there are many expenses involved. Besides my study and training program, I don't earn enough with my job to cover the costs of this trip. The Dutch Squash Federation does not have enough money available to finance players. Therefore, I am looking for sponsors who would be willing to help me.
