My name is Kyvan Rietkerk. I am 16years old and, like every junior tennisplayer, I dream to play the junior Grandslams and I am prepared to do everything for it!

I practice tennis by PURE Tennis in Noordwijkerhout (my coach Jeroen Joling) and fitness training by House Of Champions (physical coach Hans Kroon). I also practice in the National Tennis Centre in Amstelveen with the National Coaches from the Federation. I have already played at the KNLTB (National Tennis Federation) for a couple of years and I am part of the Dutch selection team.

Important National Results:
-Dutch single and double champion U12 2017
-Dutch single runner-up 2019
-Dutch double champion U14 2019
-Dutch champion U16 single and double 2020
-Dutch indoor champion single and double U16 2021

I also played several great matches for my country in TeamNL at the Summer and Wintercups (juniors daviscup) and I played in the Europan Championship. Recently I have won various titles and matches in the Tennis Europe and ITF Juniors. My highest ranking in the Tennis Europe U14 was 34 with 5 finals over the year. In 2021 I focussed on the ITF junior tour U18 and climbed from 1731 to 356 on the world rankinglist U18 within one year!

My most important goal for  2022 is to improve my game and raise my level even more to reach the Top100 ITF juniors so I may play in the Maindraws of the Juniors Grandslams.

In January 2022 I started really well!. Right now my ranking is 155 of the world ITF juniors!

To realize my goal I still need more practice hours in tennis, physical and mental training as well as playing a lot of International ITF J1 and J2 tournaments. They are the highest ITF Junior tournaments with the most ranking points. There are not many of these J1 and J2 tournaments  and not every tournament is in Europe, which means that I have to travel more and  farther away. So more practice hours and  increasing travelling costs will  become really expensive.

I am awfully thankful for the support of my headsponsor Babolat who year in year out has provided me with excellent raquets, very nice clothes and all other necessary material. I am also really thankful for the sponsoring of my foundation “Stichting Vrienden van Kyvan”, KNLTB and coaches, family and friends. Because of their help and believe in me I am  where I am now:  place 155 of the world!

Tennis is a very expensive sport, even more so if you play on top level and want to become the best in the world. I am really anxious to reach the top 100 of the world and therefore I am in urgent need of extra sponsors who can help me with the financial side of my dream.

That’s why I started this campaign in the hope that tennislovers, business companies, entrepreneurs are willing to help me financially to realize my dream: Junior Grandslams 2023!
