Squash: mijn DROOM waar ik 100% voor ga!! Ik ben Samuel, 16 jaar en ben bijna 2 jaar aan het squashen. Afgelopen jaar ben ik op de Europese junior ranking van plek 500 naar 80 geklommen. Daarnaast speel ik in de top van de Nederlandse jeugd mee in de Elite en ben dit jaar 4de geworden op het NK jeugd. Mijn droom om professioneel squasher te worden is ontstaan tijdens het kijken van een eredivisie wedstrijd van wereldtop spelers Paul Coll tegen Joel Makin (beiden top 10 van de wereld). Ik ben Samuel, 16 jaar en ben bijna 2 jaar aan het squashen. Afgelopen jaar ben ik op de Europese junior ranking van plek 500 naar 80 geklommen. Daarnaast speel ik in de top van de Nederlandse jeugd mee in de Elite en ben dit jaar 4de geworden op het NK jeugd.
Mijn droom om professioneel squasher te worden is ontstaan tijdens het kijken van een eredivisie wedstrijd van wereldtop spelers Paul Coll tegen Joel Makin (beiden top 10 van de wereld). Ik dacht: dit is wat ik later ook wil!
Er staat een prachtig jaar te wachten met mijn topsport carrière. Aankomend jaar zal ik minder internationale toernooien spelen maar me vooral richten op specifiek trainen in Nederland maar ook in het buitenland.
In Nederland is er helaas geen financiële steun vanuit de squashbond of NOC/NSF. Alles moet dus zelf betaald worden waardoor ik jullie steun goed kan gebruiken om me maximaal te kunnen ontwikkelen.
Om aan deze trainingen te kunnen deelnemen komt mijn droom om top squasher te kunnen worden dichterbij.

Squash: my DREAM that I go for 100%!!
I am Samuel, 16 years old and have been playing squash for almost 2 years. Last year I climbed from 500th to 80th place on the European junior ranking.
In addition, I play in the top of the Dutch youth in the Elite and this year I came 4th at the Dutch National Youth Championship.
My dream to become a professional squash player arose while watching a premier league match between world top players Paul Coll and Joel Makin (both top 10 in the world). I thought: this is what I want to do later!
A wonderful and exciting year awaits me with my top sports career. Next year I will play fewer international tournaments but will mainly focus on specific training in the Netherlands but also abroad.
In the Netherlands, unfortunately, there is no financial support from the squash association or NOC/NSF. Everything has to be paid for by myself, so I can really use your support to develop myself to the fullest.
Being able to participate in these trainings brings my dream of becoming a top squash player closer.
