Hello there and welcome to our page!

Let us introduce ourselves: we are GRUT, an Amsterdam based mixed ultimate frisbee team. We are young, we are eager, and we are ready for our biggest challenge yet: fighting for gold at the World Club Championships 2022 in Cincinnati, Ohio! 

Our team started in 2013 as a group of friends, young and talented Ultimate frisbee players from all over the Netherlands. Over the years that followed, not only did we play more and more tournaments, we also started winning. We developed from a fun team of friends to a close-knit team of professional athletes. We started playing internationally in 2016 and won multiple European Championships. Four years ago, we went to the World Championships and reached the quarterfinals. Since then we have worked incredibly hard to push ourselves even further: we have trained on the field, worked out at the gym and on the track, kept fit and in touch during the pandemic, and prepared ourselves in every possible way. This time around, we want to win GOLD. And you can help!

This goal of ours, the championship and its preparations, comes with a lot of costs. We have to pay for practices, team weekends and tournaments, but also for flights, accommodation, physiotherapists and enough food to refuel all of hungry boys and girls after a day on the fields. We are currently giving this team everything we have got but sponsorship and financial support could still take a great weight off our shoulders. We are incredibly grateful for all your support and any donation is more than welcome! Please check out some of the deals we can offer you. Wij zijn GRUT, een mixed ultimate frisbeeteam uit Amsterdam. We zijn fanatiek, jong en klaar voor onze grootste uitdaging tot nu toe: strijden voor een gouden medaille op het WK-clubs in Cincinnati, Ohio!

Ons team is in 2013 ontstaan uit een groep jonge en getalenteerde ultimate frisbeespelers uit heel Nederland. Door de jaren heen zijn we samen meer en meer toernooien gaan spelen en… winnen. Van een gezellig vriendenteam zijn we uitgegroeid tot een hecht en fanatiek team met serieuze atleten en doelen. In 2016 hebben we onze eerste stap gezet op het internationale toneel. Sindsdien hebben we meermaals de Europese titel gewonnen. Vier jaar geleden namen we voor het eerst deel aan de wereldkampioenschappen, we waren toen één van de slechts twee Europese teams die het tot de kwartfinale hebben gehaald. Dat smaakte naar meer. De afgelopen vier jaar hebben we allemaal ontzettend hard gewerkt: op het veld, in de sportschool en op de atletiekbaan. Ook tijdens de lockdowns hebben we er alles aan gedaan om fit te blijven en ons op alle mogelijke manieren voor te bereiden op dit seizoen. We hebben namelijk maar één doel: GOUD, en jij kan ons daarbij helpen!

Het spelen van een wereldkampioenschap komt echter met veel kosten, zeker bij een kleine sport als ultimate frisbee. Kosten voor trainingen, team weekenden, voorbereidingstoernooien, maar ook vluchten, verblijf, fysiotherapeuten en genoeg voedsel om de magen van al onze hongerige spelers te vullen na een dag op het veld. Op dit moment geven wij alles wat we hebben voor dit team. Sponsoring of financiële ondersteuning zou een flinke last van onze schouders halen. Zou jij ons daarom willen sponsoren? We zijn ontzettend dankbaar voor alle support en alle donaties zijn meer dan welkom! Om onze dankbaarheid te tonen hebben we voor elke donatie ook een tegenprestatie. Je kunt een tegenprestatie kiezen die past bij het bedrag van je donatie of een behorende tot een lager bedrag. Elke donatie wordt binnen een week door ons bevestigd via e-mail. In deze e-mail ontvang je ook meer informatie over je tegenprestatie. Check je spam-folder als je de e-mail niet op tijd hebt ontvangen!
